CHINA INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COUNCIL
Chinese Hospital is Pakistan's first healthcare institution dedicated to providing Chinese medical treatments and acupuncture. Located in Rawalpindi, the hospital was established in the year 2000 by Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Khan, a visionary medical professional who recognized the potential for integrating the advanced medical practices of China into Pakistan’s healthcare system. Dr. Khan, after completing his early education in the UK, pursued higher education in China where he graduated in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in the early 1990s.
During his time in China, Dr. Khan became acutely aware of the gap between the medical fields of China and Pakistan. While China was making significant strides in alternative medicine, acupuncture, and traditional healing practices, there was very little exchange of knowledge or cooperation in this domain between the two countries. This observation led Dr. Khan to a profound realization—that bridging this gap could greatly benefit the health and well-being of the people of Pakistan. readmore+
